Hi, I’m Erika — proud owner of Trusty Tails Dog Walking, a wife, a mom, and a lifelong animal lover. Our home is filled with love and fur, thanks to our two amazing dogs: Benny the Golden Doodle and Layla the Yellow Labrador. And always in my heart is Shelby, my soul dog, whose passing two years ago reminded me of the deep bond we share with our pets — and inspired me to return to working with animals.

My journey started in 2013 when I co-founded my first dog walking business in Santa Clara with a close friend. We spent five wonderful years building trusted relationships and falling in love with every pup we met. When life took us out of the area, we made sure each client found the perfect replacement walker before we stepped away.

I spent the next few years as a stay-at-home mom, then reentered the workforce in a corporate role. After four years, a company reorganization led to a layoff — and gave me the space to ask myself, what do I really want to do? The answer was easy: go back to what I love most — walking dogs.

Trusty Tails is built on that love, care, and experience. I’m here to give you peace of mind, knowing your fur baby is safe, happy, and well cared for when you can’t be there.
